Are you eager to dive deeper into the world of joyful, plant-based cooking and community? Our intensives offer
demonstration-style and participatory cooking classes
relaxing, plant-based meals
opportunities to genuinely connect with other people
optional local excursions and activities (multi-day intensives)
A note on our wording: We initially thought of this program as a “retreat” - a common term for taking a small chunk of time & space away from one’s everyday life. However, upon reflection, it is actually the opposite of “retreat” (“to move back, withdraw”) that resonated with us more fully: “ADVANCE: to move forward in a purposeful way.”
So as not to confuse people with semantics, we have opted to call this program an “intensive,” to reflect what we hope may be a significant, perhaps even transformative, moment in your life.
Stay tuned for our Late Winter 2024 Intensive!
Darn! You missed our May 21 intensive! —> Late spring on the farm means vibrant greens and the first tender shoots of scallions, chives, and asparagus. Just as these plants tentatively poke their heads out to see what happened all winter, and who else is out there, and how does the sunshine feel, this is an opportunity for us to emerge out of our comfort zones, to check in with ourselves while also encountering others who are also venturing out in search of something new & inspiring.
